Our Story
A Love Letter to my Parents
The roots of our little company began to grow before I was even born. They have grown through the lives of my parents, their dedication to healing beginning even before my birth. As a little girl in Latvia I was surrounded by stories of healthcare and hospitals, my parents, both doctors spent their lives and my childhood fighting for their patients.
In cultivating wellness, we have to go back to where I began to understand it, at home. In growing up with two role models so focused on healing others, my mother an oncologist, and my father a family doctor; nurturing wellness has been a family concern.
My mother has spent her career treating cancer patients, seeing the brutal realities of even the most sophisticated treatments on the body. Her talent and dedication to getting her patients through the darkest times of their lives have been inspirational to see. Even as a child I understood the importance of my parents’ work, discussions around the dinner table about treatments, healthcare, and the difficulties patients faced.
My wonderful parents began their careers to heal people, and as I grew older I knew I wanted to follow the path that they had walked. I wanted to work alongside my mother who had inspired and guided my learning. In asking if I could begin working at her hospital on my school breaks when I was 14, I had my eyes opened to the power of helping others. It was seeing the pain and difficulties patients endured, side effects from treatments that left me feeling powerless to assist in a meaningful way. It was a life-changing moment for me.
Beginnings
I came to London from Latvia in 2002. In 2013 I opened my first salon in Marble Arch and by 2017 we had 3 spas, 2 salons, and 2 franchise laser clinics. It was at that point I started to learn about cosmetic product ingredients, in a bid to understand how they benefit our skin. What I discovered was some of the very best skincare companies, which we had chosen to use in the clinics, were creating products containing nasty, unnecessary ingredients, some of which were even cancerogenic.
Immediately I decided to make some changes and I started to learn about the benefits of plant-derived ingredients and began to attend training courses to learn how to make organic cosmetic products.
In our salons, we noticed that nearly half of customers tick the box in the consent form that they take anti-depressants. In the spas, the majority of the customers needed help with ease of their pain, insomnia, lack of energy and stress. So it seemed important to me to look deeper into the benefits of EO’s and to start thinking about which ones might be able to help people. I started looking for medical trials and scientific reports about essential oils and plant extracts and ways they might be able to help. Since there were no certified organic products available on the market, I decided would I have to start doing it myself.
I wanted to work with people who could help me bring my goal of natural organic blends, to life. So the organic blends were created with a chemist and a consultant aromatherapist. Our ranges are formulated to aid the wellbeing of our users and assist with their
In bringing wellness to the fore in our spas I began the process of selecting key cosmetic ranges to offer our clients, trying to understand which had ingredients that would benefit the skin. But, I hadn’t expected the surprise I received when I delved into the ranges of the most popular spa products on the market.
Luxury skincare ranges left me speechless as I investigated their ingredients. From synthetic fragrances to alcohol bases, silicon, cast-offs from the oil industry, and even carcinogens. I could not offer these products at my spas, regardless of their ‘luxury’ branding. I knew that my spas had to continue to embody the wellness I believed in, so I was determined to bring change.
Creating Wellness
When I began this process I knew I wanted to ensure any products I made would stand up to scrutiny. It was crucial that all our products would be those that our customers could use on a daily basis like hand and body washes, hand creams, body oils. Making it easy to add our organic products into daily life so that no special therapies are needed for application, and products can be used instinctively.

In working on the range it became clear the benefit of transparency. With even luxury skincare products using carcinogenic ingredients, my range had to use the best available certified organic elements, natural anti-inflammatory properties, organic bases, and organic scents designed to evoke calm and ease.
It is wonderful to be able to follow in the footsteps of my parents who have dedicated their lives to creating wellness in their patients. To be able to use my experience in the beauty industry to help ease some of the symptoms which our customers experience, brings me a great deal of joy and I look forward to having you try the line, and I hope you come to love it as much as I do.
